Michele is full professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where he also serves as the Directorof Luiss X.ITE, a Research Center on Technology and Market Behavior. Recently, he has been appointed as a Luiss Rector's advisor for entrepreneurship, venture capital and startup ecosystem. Michele has an extensive teaching and research experience in Italy and abroad (Kellogg at Northwestern University; Harvard Business School). He has published over 100 textbooks, handbooks, essays, and research papers. Michele has served as an advisor for many Italian and global companies. He has also been Non-executive Director or Chairman of the Board for several companies, and served as CEO and Board Chairman (2010-2014) of a leading Italian venture capital company. He co-founded the first Italian university alumni venture capital investment club (LUISS Alumni for Growth – LA4G).
Michele is currently serving as Chairman of the Board at Banca Widiba, a digital bank owned by Gruppo Monte dei Paschi di Siena.
