For our fist fund Progress Tech Transfer Fund, we are seeking a talented individual with a passion for #technology and #innovation, and an interest in the #greentransition and #cleantech industries. The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years of experience in a related field such as venture capital, open innovation, corporate development, strategy consulting, investment banking, or business strategy at a technology company.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting market research and understanding the technical implications of the wider areas of Green Transition / Cleantech / #decarbonisation / #Climate #resilience
Preparing financial models, valuation analyses, and due diligence materials
Building and managing large databases
Reviewing investor/fund materials and tracking performance metrics
Maintaining corporate presentation tools (mainly on PowerPoint)
Supporting start-up scouting, deal screening, and due diligence activities
Participating in start-up events and conferences
Qualifications:
--> #stem background, with a PhD qualification considered a plus
--> Strong Excel skills and ability to create designed PowerPoint presentations
--> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
--> A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and organize your own work
--> Excellent writing ability in English
--> Operational knowledge of database management systems is a plus
