Progress Tech Transfer Fund
Progress Tech Transfer Fund is a technology transfer fund that invests in technologies for sustainability.
Resources of the fund are provided by the European Investment Fund and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, under the ITAtech financial scheme. Additional investors are expected to join.
The fund can invest in technologies and intellectual property from Italian research institutions and Italian universities. Its distinctive feature is the focus on low-maturity technologies (TRL 4 and higher) in need for proof-of-concept and follow-on investments. The fund provides initial financial resources, an unmatched set of complementary competences, and strong ties with industrial partners.
